Our assignment has been made…

Heard from the Bishop on Wednesday, August 29, he says our assignment has been made, which means the missionary department has assigned our field of labor, but we do not yet know where or when we’ll be going, but we should hear something soon. It takes a while for headquarters to put the mission call packet together, We hope to hear something as early as this week or next.

Yesterday my younger brother David R. “Dutch” Weenig flew down from SLC and we enjoyed going to a Texans football game together at the NRG stadium. That was really fun, and noisy. Dallas Cowboys lost to the Texans, 14 to 6. Starting to get ready for the garage sale next week, so we can get rid of some stuff we no longer need.
